Privacy policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026. The Romanian version is the reference one.

In short: we only use what you send through the form to reply to you. We don't sell it, we don't share it for ads and we don't use tracking cookies. You can ask us to delete it anytime, by email.

What we collect and why

When you fill in the contact form we receive your name, phone or email, type of business and your message. We only use them to reply and send you a quote.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you become a client, invoice data is kept because accounting law requires it (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

If you message us on WhatsApp, messages go through WhatsApp (Meta) under their privacy rules.

If we talk on a video call, we record it only if you agree, so we don’t miss any details. The recording is used internally only, possibly with a transcription tool, and deleted within 30 days. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't become a contract: 12 months after the last message, then deleted.
• Video call recordings (only with your consent): 30 days at most.
• Client data on invoices and contracts: as long as Romanian accounting and tax law requires.

Who else sees it

We don't sell or rent your data. Only the providers the site can't work without:

• Netlify, Inc. (hosting and form submissions), a US company. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
• Our email provider, where form notifications arrive.
• Our accounting software, only for clients we invoice.

Cookies

This site uses no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are hosted on the site itself, so nothing is sent to Google. That's why there is no cookie banner.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, or to get it in a portable format. Write to contact@lutraweb.com and we'll reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).

Automated decisions

We make no automated decisions about you and do no profiling.
